Samuel L. Huffman

Samuel L. Huffman was born in Lima, Ohio, and graduated from Lima Central Catholic High School. He attended Princeton University, where he majored in History and played defensive back on the Princeton Varsity Football Team. After graduating from Princeton, Sam moved to Chicago where he worked for a research network serving built industry professionals in the areas of technology and innovation.

Sam attended law school at Capital University Law School in Columbus, OH, where he served as a Note Editor for the Capital University Law Review and was a member of the Corporate and Business Law Association. During his time at Capital, Sam also worked in legal positions for an insurance company and private practice law firms in Columbus. Sam earned recognition on the Dean’s List and graduated magna cum laude from Capital in 2023. After graduation, Sam worked for a boutique commercial real estate law firm in Columbus, where he supported local and national clients in a variety of real estate and business matters.

Sam focuses his legal practice in the areas of real estate, corporate law, and civil litigation, including personal injury and wrongful death cases. In his real estate practice, Sam advises clients in the areas of leasing, acquisition, disposition, development, and more. He regularly conducts due diligence, drafts and negotiates contracts, and provides practical, value-added guidance on various issues and opportunities his clients may face. He is passionate about facilitating business and community growth through real estate and economic development. Sam’s experience in complex real estate transactions shapes his pragmatic, solutions-oriented approach to all areas of his practice. He relies on his problem-solving, critical-analysis, and communication skills to resolve complicated issues in a practical and timely manner and help clients achieve their goals.

Outside of the office, Sam enjoys spending time with his wife and sons, and visiting Lima’s many parks and downtown establishments. One of his favorite quotes is as follows: “I like to see a man proud of the place in which he lives. I like to see a man live so that his place will be proud of him.”
